How can I transfer video footage from a VHS tape to my computer?
I did this for my Mom and Dad’s (Im 13 years old) wedding video and edited in iMovie. You need: Camcorder RCA Audio Video cable Fire Wire Your VHS Tape VHS tape player Steps: 1. Rewind tape to beginning of video or to the part which you want to import 2. Connect RCA Cable to camcorder and VHS 3. Connect Computer to camcorder using fire wire. 4. Open iMovie and create new project 5. Click the button that switches you to camera thingy mode 6. Press play on VHS player and click Import on iMovie 7.
