The simplest way is to use the FAQ on adding a search path, to include the GameData folder underneath the folder containing TheSims executable (note: not the SimPose executable). Whilst this will work, it is a little inefficient as SimPose will find a large number of archive files (.far) the contents of most it cannot use.
