How can I write notes without setting a clef and generally without any accidentals?

According to current notation rules, this kind of note writing is not acceptable. Clef and, if applicable, accidentals must be set at the beginning of each staff. You can however select the correct key and press [Shift] + [F5] to open the Clef, key and time signature… dialog. On the time signature tab select “No time signature”. Enter your melody step by step and correct the individual note values afterwards, if necessary. Select the line breaks according to your requirements and if needed add the lyrics. Mark the first note in each staff and draw a square. Position this square to cover the clef and any accidentals and format the square with white filling and white border.
