How can International TAs demonstrate proficiency in spoken English?

0

Proficiency in spoken English may be demonstrated in a variety of ways, which are listed on the Requirements for International Graduate Students. If you would like to take the SPEAK test administered at UW, please note: The SPEAK Test is offered monthly by the Office of Educational Assessment. Additional sessions will be offered on Thursday, September 11, 2008. For additional testing dates and information about how to register, please see the Office of Educational Assessment SPEAK Test Information Sheet. For international students taking the SPEAK Test on September 11, CIDR will offer an optional Overview of the SPEAK Test on September 10 at 3:00 p.m. The Overview session will allow you to see the format of the test, learn how it is scored, and review a sample test booklet. To register for this optional Overview Session, send a message to ita@cidr.washington.edu.
