One possible option is to connect Focusrite hardware equipped with a digital output to one of Saffire PRO’s digital inputs, allowing additional classic Focusrite pre-amplification to stream directly to the DAW. The S/PDIF In could be used to receive audio from the TwinTrack PRO, for example. In addition, the stereo SPDIF output from the X-Station could be sent to the SPDIF In of the Saffire PRO 10 i/o, leaving the other 8 analogue inputs free for Guitars, vocals, drums etc.
