The autoalignment piezoactuator controller, CVI Melles Griot’s automatic alignment controller, is used with our piezoelectrically controlled positioners to simplify and speed up the time-consuming alignment procedures normally experienced when testing or fabricating single-mode fiber optical components. It makes alignment automatic, signal acquisition takes a fraction of a second, alignment is maintained indefinitely, and it compensates (in real time) for movements caused by environmental disturbances.
