We continuously sample and analyze the reclaimed water to ensure it meets or exceeds all safety requirements before leaving the WRC. Additional analysis is done at the discharge point to make sure these high standards are maintained once the reuse water reaches its final destination. In nearly five years of testing the reuse water, no bacteria or virus has been detected. This is not surprising since the Hill WRC uses advanced water treatment processes including double ozone disinfection and carbon filtration.
