How can we stop a gas company from cutting trees on an easement?
not a lot… there is so many laws that now protect the utility companies that you don’t have much say in it. Easement means just that, it is their land to do what they want to be able to protect their property under the ground. Tree roots will mess up the pipe in years to come… But most trees are not that deep on roots. Line should be pretty deep.
