How can William Shakespeares Hamlet can be defined as a revenge tragedy.?

Hamlet is essentially a revenge tragedy, where the hero, Hamlet, battles for answers to find out if Claudius really did murder his father. Hamlet contains 2 revenge tragedies. Throughout the play Hamlet tries to find out the truth, and ultimately make his move. So while the reader is contemplating about Hamlet’s tactics, the reader is also entertained by a complete opposite approach. He wastes no time with asking questions and immediately cahoots with Claudius to murder Hamlet. Shakespeare almost intentionally puts in the second plot to contrast the different methods.
