How come artist name & title is truncated to 30 characters in Winamps display?
Winamp uses the names stored within the MP3 file’s ID3 tag for it’s display. And even though the artist name, album name, song title, etc. are not restricted to 30 characters within MinkSonic, the ID3 tag format restricts these names to 30 characters. ID3v2 tags are now supported as of version 0.85. ID3v2 tags do not have the 30 character limitations that ID3v1 tags have.
