How come I can no longer use Windows Media Player to get Groovera streams?
We regret to announce that we have ended all support for Windows Media Player. WMP has posed many kinds of problems for both Groovera and you, our listeners, over the years as MS only built it to begrudgingly support anything other than Windows Media streams and disregards well-established web standards that all other streaming and embedded media players agree upon. We have gotten exponentially more requests for help with WMP than all other media players combined, have thoroughly tested all scenarios, and there’s never been any rhyme or reason to the issues we have encountered while troubleshooting WMP problems. These problems also still persist on WMP12, unfortunately (we guess these issues will never be fixed!), and we have been able to reproduce all issues reported without finding any viable solutions.
