This is caused by a local security setting in Windows 2000. You can correct it by doing the following: Log on to the Windows 2000 machine as administrator Go to start/settings/control panel double-click administrative tools double-click Local security On the left hand side click on the plus sign next to Local Policies Below that, click on Security Options On the right hand side, double-click on “allowed to eject removable NTFS media” Under the Local policy setting select “Administrators and Interactive Users” Choose Ok Reboot Log on as user You will no longer receive the error and be able to safely eject and remove the media from the ImageMate.
