How culturally diverse is Wharton and the University of Pennsylvania?
Penn is one of the most culturally diverse campuses in the nation. We have students and faculty from all over the world, and many different cultural backgrounds. In addition, we have a large number of organizations and clubs that support students from different backgrounds as well as those that focus on the business-related interests of different regions of the world. The University also sponsors numerous events, exhibits, performances in celebration of this diversity. Many of these are hosted by the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. The first four graduates of The Wharton School were two Americans, a Brazilian, and a Japanese. Diversity and global perspective is fundamental to Wharton.
