How dangerous is Joel Osteens preaching?
I cannot speak to the nature of Joel Osteen’s heart, I can only look at what he has said. Here are some things that he has said: Larry King interview with Joel Osteen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfwYU2pmWYQ This is troubling to me since he had the perfect opportunity to say “Yes Larry, unless you accept Jesus Christ as your savior you won’t get into Heaven.” Instead he opted for the Universalist view of “we may all worship the same God”… Joel didn’t say this exactly, however, I infer it from what he says about Jews and Muslims “Well, I don’t believe they are wrong” and “I spent a lot of time in India… I don’t know a lot about their Religion, but I know that they love God.” Mike Wallace interview with Joel Osteen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUdGaBd8f3A&feature=related About
