How demanding is actuarial science as a college majoR?
It depends on the school obviously. I have seen students come out of Temple University wholly unprepared for actuarial work. Other schools, like Iowa, Ball State, Drake, Lebanon Valley, Nebraska, Georgia State, do a fine job. Find out how many students pass at least one exam before graduation. If it’s not a lot, find another school.
