How did Andrew Jackson view the native Americans?
Andrew Jackson supported Slavery and Indian Removal – he saw both blacks and indians as an ‘inferior race’ (less than human). He was a commander against many indian tribes through several wars, and earned a reputation for brutality and ruthlessness – killing women and children as well as burning the towns and crops of the tribes.
