I’m not sure how Dudley died, but I think he had one child (a son) with his second wife, Lady Essex. This child died quite young. Also, his stepson was Robin, Lord of Essex who was Queen Elizabeth’s favorite towards the end of her life. (Essex betrayed Elizabeth, was accused of treason, and executed).
