Lamar’s Xavier Feyaerts and Central Arkansas’ Jad Sinclair each claimed a share of the Southland Conference men’s golfer of the month award in April, the league office announced Wednesday. Feyaerts posted a 71.80 scoring average over two events in April. The freshman from Heist-Op-Den-Berg, Belgium, posted back-to-back sub-70 rounds to open the Administaff Augusta State Invitational and his 36-hole score of 137 (69-68) was his lowest 36-hole total of his career. That completed a stretch with four of seven rounds under par. Feyaerts tied for ninth at the event with a career-best 210 total and then tied for 26th with a 149 at the weather-shortened Aggie Invitational last weekend. Sinclair, a sophomore at Central Arkansas, won the Arkansas State Red Wolf Classic while competing unattached. A native of East London, South Africa, he broke a three-way tie for first by winning the first playoff hole with a par. Sinclair shot scores of 71, 70 and 70 for a total of 211. He averaged 70.3 strokes
