How did the world population growth projections evolve?
All projections made since the 60’s have continuously changed. The annual growth rate is decreasing, with great differences between the developed and developing countries (especially in sub-Saharan Africa). The demographic explosion has become a “demographic implosion” and the uncontrollable growth that was expected is now a general “zero growth”.
