How difficult are the walks and is there a grading system?
A grading is given for most walks and the guide to the grading of walks is printed on the Outings Program. Trip Leaders provide information about their trips at the monthly club night, such as location, distance to be covered, terrain, on or off track walking, details of camp sites and whether any special skills/equipment are required. Leaders can also assist you in determining which walks are appropriate to your abilities, fitness and previous experience. You are most welcome to contact either individual trip leaders or the Outings Officer for more information, especially if you are unable to attend the monthly club night.
