How difficult is it to microchip an animal?
It is actually a very quick and simple procedure which can be done on an outpatient basis. It does not require any form of sedation. The microchip which is the size of a grain of rice is implanted under the skin over the shoulder area of dogs and cats with a hypodermic needle & syringe. This allows your pet to be permanently identified to help protect against loss or theft.
