how do coupons work?
Coupons apply discounts to products in a your store. When a customer enters a coupon code in the shopping cart or clicks on a coupon link, the coupon gets added to their shopping cart. If the products in the shopping cart qualify for the coupon discount based on the criteria that you established when you created the coupon, then ShopSite applies the discount. The shopping cart shows the coupon as “applied” and lists the discount that the coupon is applying.
Coupons purchased from the Swap Directory are a great way for our members to get discounts on products and services provided by ClickThru’s advertisers. First, you purchase the coupon using ClickThru Cash. The coupon is then placed in the My Stuff section of your account. From there you can either redeem the coupon, or swap it on the Swap Directory yourself for ClickThru Cash. When you redeem a coupon ClickThru gives you 3 things: • A coupon code. • A link to the advertiser’s site where you can use your coupon code. • Instructions provided by the advertiser detailing how to use the coupon on their site. After you have redeemed a coupon, you will have the opportunity to leave feedback about the coupon and its provider to assist future users who may wish to buy the same coupon.
