How do custom blends work?
Note: We aren’t taking custom blends right now, but look forward to doing more custom work later this year. We’ll leave all the information that follows so you’ll have a reference for how the process works once we start again. Please send an email to info@sonomascentstudio.com before ordering a custom blend to inquire if it is something we can do. If its just a simple change to an existing formula, such as increasing/decreasing one ingredient, we can usually do it right away at no extra cost to you. If it is a request for an all-new custom-blended scent, it will take a bit of time. There’s usually a wait-list for custom blends; you can inquire via email how we’re doing at the time. Custom blends are currently done on an as time allows basis, so they can take a month or so. Theres no charge for the blending until we can start your project; at that time, we’ll check back with you and if you want to proceed, we’ll need a small $15 payment to cover the blending of up to 4 sample versions o
