How do I access online research databases after graduation?
Due to licensing agreements with the databases vendors, we are only able to provide access to current learners. As such, alumni will no longer have access to the online databases once their learner computer account expires. We have sought – and will continue to seek – ways to provide alumni access, but at present the cost does not make this service viable. Alumni who live near RRU or any other academic library can use licensed resources on a walk-in basis. Note: public libraries are beginning to license similar resources for onsite and remote access by their users. For example, if you are a member of the Greater Victoria Public Library, you can access several databases online such as Access Science, CBCA and Canadian News Stand and EBSCOHOST.
