How do I access the McKay Library resources from home?

0

The McKay Library Home Page web address is http://www.lib.byui.edu. From this screen you can access our online library catalog, our Reference Online page, and the BYU-Idaho home page. In addition, if you are a student or employee of BYU-Idaho, you may access some of our paid subscription databases from home, including the Encyclopedia Britannica Online, the ProQuest periodical index database, and the NewsBank newspaper database. Simply select the “Reference Online” page from the library’s main page (the direct URL is http://www.lib.byui.edu/ReferenceOnline.htm), click on the desired link, and you will be asked to enter your campus network username and password. (See question 2 for information about usernames and passwords.) Please note that not all vendors allow us to grant remote access as described above. Therefore, not all links on the “Reference Online” page will be accessible from home.
