How do I add a shower to a bathtub with existing legs without using a diverter tap?
My husband and I DIY us renovate the bathroom in the house of the 1920’s. Now we have the typical bathtub / shower wall installation. We want to restore the bathroom with a style 1920 with original geometric white tiles, white pedestal sink, and putting in a foot tub. But we also want to use the bathtub as a shower. (No space for a separate shower.) We have seen hardware footed shower diverters that work but are quite expensive. Is there a cheaper way to add a shower and work with the configuration of the existing wall? Can you please tell us where to start and raise us to companies that could make the hardware ‘re looking for? Thank you!
