Each coat will take about 15 minutes to dry, so you can easily treat all of your teak within an afternoon. In order to get the maximum lifetime out of your wood, we suggest that you keep applying coats until the last coat dries shiny. Because TeakGuard must penetrate to work, any shiny coats will not add to the lifetime of the product. How you apply TeakGuard is up to you. In our complete teak maintenance kit we provide you with a 2-inch wide foam brush as an applicator, but you may use just about anything.
