• Make sure that the FTP service is enabled on the Settings -> Services page. • Connect to your MCU/IP VCR/ISDN GW using an FTP client. When asked for a username and password, use the same ones that you would use to log into the unit’s web interface as an administrator. You will see a file called configuration.xml. This contains the complete configuration of your unit. • Take a copy of this file and store it somewhere safe. The backup process is now complete. To restore: • Locate the copy of the configuration.xml file that you wish to restore. • Make sure that the FTP service is enabled on the Settings -> Services page. • Connect to your MCU/IP VCR/ISDN GW using an FTP client, as described above. • Upload your configuration.xml file to the unit, overwriting the one that is already on there. The restore process is now complete. • For MCU and IP-VCR units, there is no need to reboot. For ISDN products, reboot the unit if the restored configuration file contains changes to the ISDN port s
