How do i be divorced in a cultural society that doesnt like divorced women?
Do you live in India? If not, then it will be easier. In the US, women – including Indian women are not looked down upon if they are divorced. Indeed, it is not considered a liability. Now if you live in India, it will be more difficult as women in general are not as valued as men are – and divorced women are indeed not regarded well. I suggest you emigrate to the US where, as a doctor, you can earn a good living and perhaps meet and marry a more liberal-minded man. Next time, don’t settle. Don’t get married just to be married.
