That’s a good enough reason to break your lease. If she says “You can’t do that!” then just threaten to sue and I doubt she’ll say anything. Your landlord seems very unprofessional and immature. I’d move out as soon as possible.

With that many mice someone needs to figure out how they are getting in and plug the entrance. If you really want to go through the expense of a move you probably have cause to break the lease.

Pretty sure you would have a case for breaking your lease. Especially with the new born. Talk to your landlord and see if she will settle it amicably. If not you should have a ‘slam dunk ‘ if you involve a lawyer.
