How do I carry over access restrictions applied to Tax Agent Portal users with user ID/password access when they upgrade to a secondary digital certificate?
Secondary digital certificate holders must have their profiles activated by a primary digital certificate holder (or administrator) in Online access manager before they can use the Tax Agent Portal. You can carry across access restrictions to their new certificate while you are completing this process by choosing to “associate user” on the approve user screen. Primary digital certificate holders have full and unrestricted access in the Portals. You will not be able to apply access restrictions to their profiles.
