How do I change authorized officers, or change an authorized officer’s contact information?
Send an email message referencing the organization’s name and FEIN to charitable@sos.state.co.us. Tell us who the new authorized officer should be, or let us know what information needs to be changed for the existing authorized officer. If possible, please include the account password in this email to authorize the change. We will send a different password to the new officer at the email address you provided for that person and de-activate the previous password, or we will re-send the updated information to the existing authorized officer. If we are simply updating contact information, the password will not change.
