How do I change my mobile number for RSS feeds?
I think I tracked down the info you are looking for. Apparently you can not just change the number of a mobile device. Instead, you have to add the new device then delete the old one, even if it’s the same phone just a new phone number. Go to http://sites.mobile.yahoo.com/wireless/m… Once there you will need to click the “Add Alerts Device” link under the “MY MOBILE ALERTS” section. Select the proper options on the next page then Continue to Step 2. Enter the information for your new device then Continue to Step 3. Choose your phone model then Continue to Step 4. A confirmation code will be sent to your phone. Enter this code in the appropriate place then click the “Confirm” button. When finished, go back to the link i provided earlier and delete your old device. Also, please check my comment on your status indicator question.
