How do I change the Volume of my synths from my MIDI EVI?

Many MIDI EVI players are unaware that the instrument has a cool remote control volume feature. This allows you to make overall adjustments to the volume of your synth(s) without having to physically touch your synth rack. To adjust the Volume, simply touch the Special Button (between the 2nd and 3rd trill keys) AND the Pitchbend 1/2 Button. While continuing to touch them, you can scroll through several volume levels by simply sliding through the left hand octave rollers with or without the half octave pressed. The MIDI Volume value (CC#7) corresponds to note you have fingered in the left hand. Note that the full range of volume is not available- only several steps from 51 to 127. Nyle chose the spread out a practical range across the rollers. Note that Nyle included two values at the very top of the range- perhaps for quick and sure options to switch between lead and background modes.
