Answer WASHER PUMP AND RESERVOIR Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. Drain the engine coolant and remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator. Refer to Cooling System for the procedures. Remove the washer hose from the washer pump and drain the washer fluid from the reservoir into a clean container for reuse. Unplug the wire harness connectors from the washer pump and the washer fluid level sensor, if equipped Washer Reservoir and Pump Remove/Install Pull the reservoir upwards and away from the radiator fan shroud to disengage the mounting tabs of the reservoir from the mounting slots in the shroud. Gently pry the pump out of the rubber grommet seal and the fluid level sensor away from the reservoir, if equipped. Care must be taken not to damage the reservoir. Remove the rubber grommet seal from the reservoir and discard. Reverse the removal procedures to install. Always use a new rubber grommet seal on the reservoir.
