If I were you, which I kind of wish I was right now (because I want to study abroad sooooo badly), I’d approach it with colleges in mind, as long as you really can’t decide. If you chose Spain, but picture yourself regretting the choice not to go to Ireland until the minute your plane left, then go to Ireland. You’ll have a better experience. But if it’s really a toss up between the two, then maybe talk to a counselor at your school and see what colleges might think of one decision over the other, and use that to weigh your options. Or talk to your parents, find the price of the program, and decide which one would be more culturally enhancing or that you would get more out of by looking at the websites and descriptions carefully. If you intend to study Spanish in college, then go to Ireland now.
