How do I configure McAfee firewall to accept Limewire?
easy.Open your mcafee and select configure.select internet & network on the left, click on firewall protection is enabled, click on advanced, click program permissions on the left and a list of programs will open. Go to the desired program and click on it if it doesn’t say full access next to it and choose grant full access at the bottom and you will be sorted. If it says full access already then you’re ok.The other thing you have to do is to turn windows firewall off because you already have the mcafee one. Go to control panel and select windows firewall and turn it off. Now go to security centre in control panel and click on firewall. It should tell you that mcafee reported that it is turned on.
