If you are behind a firewall and IBDrivePlus does not connect, the connection error is probably to do with the firewall settings. IBDrive.com sites IP address can be added to your trusted sites using the Advanced Security settings available with most firewalls. You may also visit the IBDrive page’s troubleshooting tips for more information. If you are using ZoneAlarm, follow these steps: 1. Open the main window of ZoneAlarm and select the Security tab. 2. Click the Advanced button. 3. Click the Add button and select Host/Site. 4. Enter “IBackup” as the description and ibdrive.com as the host name of the server. For Zonealarm Pro, go to ‘Security’, ‘Advanced’ then select “Local Zone Contents”, then add ibdrive.com. Also please note to keep the security settings at medium or lower for the IBDrive application to pass-through.
