How do i convert mp3 files to mp2?
MP2 audio is dvd movie audio. Mercedes cd changers do not play that format. They play regular cd audio. There is an optional changer that will play mp3 discs. Converting mp3 files to regular audio cd is fairly straight forward. But not all home burned cd’s will play. There are “audio” and “data” cd blanks. If you use a data disc to burn audio, the program must change the book type of the disc to fool the player into thinking it has an audio disc. The program must also burn slowly enough to avoid resyncing (no packet writing). Otherwise the small gaps between packets that occur during resyncing can be mistaken for track gaps/end of track/bad sectors. Nero should be able to convert and burn a data disc to audio cd that will play in a Mercedes. Otherwise, you might want to go to Radio Shack and buy a Gigaware mp3 player adapter that broadcasts on FM radio and just listen to your mp3’s that way.
