How do I copy and paste a message from a word processor into a new message?

• Type your message in a word processor or text editor. • While keeping your word processor program running, go onto the Internet and go to your class messaging area. • Create a new message so that there is a large textbox where the body of the message will be composed. • Instead of typing anything there, switch back to your word processor and select the text that you want to include in your message. • Choose COPY from the Edit menu. This places the text on your computer’s invisible Clipboard. • Switch back to your web browser, to the message creation screen and click inside the body area of the new message so you see the blinking caret in the upper left corner. • Now go to the Edit menu of the browser and choose PASTE. Your text should appear in the body of the message. • Be sure to include a Subject line or Topic above the message and send it.
