How do I create a new email account with the SmarterMail interface?
The following article explains how to create a new email account through the SmarterMail interface. New accounts may be created only by the root user. Once the account is created, users can begin sending and receiving email. To create new email accounts, please follow these steps: • Open a browser window and go to one of the following URLs: • http://mail.yourdomainname.com • http://mail#.safesecureweb.com (this address is provided in the setup email) • Login as root@yourdomainname.com with the password supplied in your setup email. • From the Domain Settings menu, select Email Users. • Click Add User. • Enter the requested information: • Username: enter the name of the user, not the full email address.
