How do I create multiple CDRL Tracking Tool or CDRL Wizard files?
A. The first thing to realize when working with the CDRL Tracking Tool or the CDRL Wizard is that they are simply Microsoft Access files that contain the DD 1423-1 form and many programming features to work with CDRLs. Since they are files they may be copied and saved and renamed as many times as needed. For example, if you have CDRLs for two different programs/contracts named Contract A and Contract B you can take the “CDRL Tracking Tool 2007.mde” file and rename it to “Contract A CDRL Tracker.mde” and make a copy of it and rename that file to “Contract B CDRL Tracker.mde” to have two different CDRL Tracking Tool files. NOTE: Whenever you rename the CDRL Tracking Tool or the CDRL Wizard you must keep the extension as “.mde”. To then begin working, import the CDRLs for Contract A into the Contract A CDRL Tracker and import the CDRLs for Contract B into the Contract B CDRL Tracker. This will work the same if you have different sets of CDRLs (like delivery orders) for the same program/co
