How do I determine the language requirements of a special deployment?
A. Language requirements and linguistic profiles are based on the duties of the deployment and determined in accordance with the Directive on the Linguistic Identification of Positions or Functions. If it is determined that the duties require a bilingual incumbent, the special deployment must be made in accordance with the Directive on the Staffing of Bilingual Positions.
