• Assign a static IP address to the ioSafe R4, and set your PC with a static IP in the same subnet. • Connect the ioSafe R4 and PC NIC using a straight or crossover Ethernet cable. • Power on the ioSafe R4 and scan with RAIDar to locate the ioSafe R4. Note: If the ioSafe R4 is set for DHCP (default mode), it will appear as IP 192.168.168.168.
