To disconnect from Webdisk, click on the “Disconnect” button, located by right-clicking on the small Webdisk icon in the lower right hand corner of your desktop, and scrolling up to “U: MyWebdisk”. You can also disconnect from Webdisk in Windows Explorer by right clicking on it, and scrolling to “Disconnect”. Your Webdisk connection however, is independent from your Internet connection. Once you have connected to your Webdisk, you will stay connected, even if you disconnect from and reconnect to the Internet. Obviously you cannot access Webdisk files when you are not connected to the Internet, but the point is that you don’t have to keep reconnecting your Webdisk.This means that if you have a permanent Internet connection (e.g. via Shaw Cable or Telus ADSL) you can leave your Webdisk permanently connected and treat it almost like a hard-drive.
