How do I dispose of sharp objects such as needles, glass, mirrors, etc.?
Sharp objects must be packaged and made safe for collection. Place them in puncture resistant non-breakable containers like a plastic bleach bottle with a tight fitting lid. Label the package with the word “sharps” to alert our garbage collection staff. Glass food jars can be recycled at your neighbourhood recycling depot.
