How do i dump data from the Matrix/ReDrum to the Sequencer?
For ReDrum: 1.) Turn off the “Pattern” button. 2.) Select the ReDrum’s sequencer track. 3.) Place the “L” and “R” locators around the part of the track you want to copy your pattern to and select the appropriate pattern in the ReDrum device’s pattern bank. 4.) Right-click (CTRL-click on Mac) the ReDrum device and select “Copy Pattern To Track.” *Note: if the Pattern button is not turned off, the ReDrum will continue to play over the top of your sequencer data. For the Matrix: 1.) Turn off the “Pattern” button on the Matrix Pattern Sequencer device. 2.) Select the sequencer track for the device Matrix is controlling. 3.) Place the “L” and “R” locators around the part of the track you want to copy your pattern to and select the appropriate pattern on the Matrix device. 4.) Right-click (CTRL-click on Mac) the Matrix device and select “Copy Pattern To Track.” A dialog will pop up warning you that you are about to copy data to a different device.
