How do I export a list of symbols from The DownLoader to Excel?
• In the DownLoader, go to Tools | Convert. • Set the source file type to MetaStock and use the Browse to select the securities you wish to export the symbols for. • Set the destination file type to Excel and type in a folder and file name to export the information to. • Click Options and under source, set the first date and last date to the same date. • Where it says fields to output, only mark Symbols. • Click OK toclose the convert options window. • Click OK again to start the conversion.
