You are on the right track…the problem is that you are using a free proxy. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but free proxies suck and for the most part don’t work…which you noticed first hand. These free proxies offer very little and an IT department can easily block just about every proxy within minutes of their creation. I can recommend the one I use. I know I used it when I left the country and it worked like a charm. They have two sets of IP addresses, one in the “Eastern” U.S. and one in the “Western” U.S. so you can choose which to use. And if by chance the IT department does catch up with the proxy, it automatically refreshes IP addresses every 30 minutes so you don’t have to manually do it.
