How Do I Find Hidden Programs Running On My Computer?
At any given time, there may be hidden programs running on your computer. Some of these processes are merely part of your Windows system. Others may be viruses, adware or spyware that have been hidden from view. The best way to find these hidden programs is by using Windows Task Manager and Computer Management. Both of these tools list the hidden processes that are currently running on your computer, but they do so in different ways. Press the “Ctrl,” “Alt” and “Delete” buttons simultaneously on your keyboard. Check the “Options” menu to ensure that “Always On Top” is checked. In Windows Task Manager, click “Processes.” This list is of all the processes that are currently running on your computer. Look in the “Image Name” field to see what process is running. Look in the “Mem Usage” field to see how much memory it is using. Click “Start.” Choose “Search,” then click “All Files and Folders.” Under “More Advanced Options,” ensure that “Search System Folders,” “Search Hidden Files and Fol
